About Me
I am currently a communications student at High Point University with a focus in journalism, media production and entrepreneurship. I currently hold positions as the president of the Delta Gamma chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, VPI for Society of Professional Journalists and marketing director for HPUR. I work for High Point University as a campus concierge, where I also assist with the social media team. I have experience with broadcasting and I am a Student Emmy award winner. I am proficient in working with the Adobe Suite software and Hootsuite.
Awards
Student Emmy
I received a student Emmy award for my segment included in my high school's weekly news broadcast. The segment highlighted the 30 year anniversary of the high school and the alumni's children who are current students.
2017 STN Best Broadcast
My high schools weekly broadcast, "The Buzz", was awarded Best Broadcast in the Nation by the Student Television Network.

Fort Mill High School
I took broadcast journalism classes throughout high school where I worked as a producer, reporter, and anchor on a weekly news show. Through this class I gained experience in producing packages using DSLR cameras along with editing on the softwares Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro. I also have an understanding of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
