The feature story I took interest in was one I found while browsing the travel section of the New York Times. What I like about this feature story is that it is different.

Not only does it feature an individual but it also features a work of art. This news piece tells one woman's story by sharing how present day actions surrounding a painting has pieced together the history of one remarkable woman's life.
This writing explains a Jewish woman's struggle to live in the same house with a high-power Nazi leader and her ability to stay unnoticed while still communicating with the outside world. After connecting dots based on letters Mrs. Koditschek wrote, the powerful and pricey painting that was taken from her years ago is now having the money it is worth go back to her family.

I want to bee able to feature multiple aspects of a person and their story similar to this article. I hope to dive deep into the facts I am given in order to present a well-rounded story that accurately depicts the topic I am writing about. I believe that this article is something that many journalists could benefit from reading and imitating.
